COVID-19 Policies

As we gradually return to fuller programmes for both land-training and swimming sessions, it is vital that all members comply with the new rules to keep everyone safe.

All swimmers have to read, understand and agree to the Code of Conduct, Health Awareness Declaration and the Return to Training Plan before coming to land-training or swimming. This will be the case for every session on offer until further notice. Nobody will be allowed to participate unless they have agreed to these, whether they are on our registers or not.

You can make your agreement online here: HAC C19 WAIVERS.

You can also download and read the relevant documents below. As we move forward, learn and adapt to the evolving situation we expect guidelines and our policies to be improved so do look out for updates in weekly emails.

We have also added the Risk Assessment below, which gives you full insights into how the club is managing our return to swimming.

We are looking for COVID-19 Liaison Officers whose job it is to observe the sessions to ensure that appropriate social distancing and other COVID-19 safety measures are taking place. It is a requirement to have COVID-19 Liaisons Officers at every training session and if we do not have enough volunteers we may have to cancel sessions. Therefore the more people can help the better. If you are willing to help the club by being a COVID-19 Liaison Officer, please do contact Frauke Westgate here who manages the rota and who can give you more information.
