Jack Petchey Awards
Hackney Aquatics are delighted to be Recipients of the Jack Petchey Awards Gold Level, and a Jack Petchey Leadership Award.
The Jack Petchey Achievement Award Scheme is the flagship programme of the Jack Petchey Foundation and it currently operates across 2000 different schools, groups and organisations within London and Essex. The Achievement Award Scheme aims to enable schools, colleges and youth organisations to recognise, reward and celebrate the achievements of their young people.
Jack Petchey CBE wants young people to raise their aspirations, believe in themselves and make a contribution to their society. Achievement Awards are designed to recognise a wide range of achievements. It is not just about being clever, or gifted, but about putting the effort in and doing your best.

Margot Celestine - for challenging her mindset and pushing herself to a new level of achievement
Leah Radus - for showing commitment and positively influencing other swimmers
Amelie Brine - for making our younger swimmers feel welcome and building their confidence
Cressida Taggart - for influencing the group in a positive way and always being willing to lead
Georgia Pozzebon- for her great sense of fun and energetic spirit
Armend Bakhtari - for coming back from injury and managing his school work and training with a g great attitude that makes him a role model
Lottie Dahlen - for her positive attitude, determination and work ethic
Sam Adams - for his attitude to competitions and being a great team player
