Well done to all our Swimmer of the Month winners June 2018
Performance Pathway– Madison Taylor (Perf Youth)
Madison has stood out this month both in and out of the pool. She has trained incredibly hard since Regional's and is now starting to become a lot more consistent. Madison was also the only HAC swimmer to compete at the London Open Water Championships where she swam 3km. Madison has really stood out however during her young volunteering work where she has received huge praise from the coaches and swimmers for her attentive coaching, hard work and for filling in whilst a teacher was away.
Competition Pathway – Jago Corner (Comp Youth) - Petchey Award Winner
Jago has proven his commitment to regular training this month and has applied himself every session. He is driven and has increasingly taken more ownership over his swimming.
Comp Development – Sam Adams
Sam has consistently show great leadership qualities within his squad and has been working hard and helping others around him. Sam has swam very well at recent competitions including the M11 and is now achieving many of his personal goals that he set earlier in the season.
Skill Development – Emma Arpesani (Skill Dev 3)
Emma is a delight to coach simply because she is committed to training hard and transferring those skills into racing. She always listens attentively to instruction and correction - demonstrating the best and fastest underwater streamline kick in the whole of the Skill Development squads.
Club Pathway – Maddie Childs (Junior 2)
Maddie brings her positive energy to every session and leads the lane without hesitation. Maddie has made a better effort to attend sessions in which she does push herself to the limit joyful swimmer to be around. She also gives me feedback on how she thought the session was which helpful for future session planning.
Academy - AJ O'Hanlon (Academy 3)
AJ missed a lot of swimming recently due to an injury but has come back with a really positive attitude and has worked incredibly hard to get back to full strength!
