This year topped the previous year as being the most successful year ever. Hackney swimmers have set over 150 club records in the last 12 months, as well as achieving the club’s highest number of National Qualifiers and finalists ever at the British Champs, Winter and Summer Nationals.

Below are some of the key achievements from the last 12 months.

  • Most successful Winter Regionals with 11 medals (4 Golds)


  • First ever Winter National medal with Isabel Iley winning Bronze in the 17 and Under 200 Back. Her time of 2:11.32 makes her the fastest 17-year-old in London ever by over a second.


  • Best ever finish in the Arena League – 5th Place in the London Premier Division


  • Best ever Summer Regionals with 39 medals (14 Golds) including 3 relay Gold medals.


  • Highest number of Swimmers at Nationals (17).


  • Highest number of Swimmers at British Nationals (14).


  • First ever Relay final at British Summer Nationals (Boy’s 14-16 Years 4x100 Medley).


  • Most medals at English Summer Nationals (5).


  • Highest number of qualifiers for Swim England Winter Nationals 2023 (Currently 9).
