Elsie

Elsie joined last September, starting off her Hackney Aquatics Journey in County Development. Elsie has been rapidly improving on her strokes where she has been working hard during training and keen to improve her racing skills, technique as well as her speed! Elsie has remained consistent in her training and has been determined to improve upon her PBs most recently at the Camden Future Stars meet, where she has significantly improved her 200m freestyle time, knocking off 10 seconds off her PB! Elsie has been taking onboard feedback given by her coach Dhaval where she always has a positive attitude towards her training and striving to be the best possible swimmer she can be. She brings a positive energy to training with her friends describing her as a funny and kind person to train alongside! A big well done to Elsie for all her hard work in training and how quickly she has improved at Hackney Aquatics. Keep up the hard work Elsie!
Jack

Jack has been training with Hackney Aquatics Club for 2 years and since he first joined till now there has been a massive difference in his strokes, speed and his development as a swimmer! Jack has come a long way during his time where he started off in Competition Potential and being moved up into Performance Potential due to his hard work dedication and motivation to improve upon his breaststroke! This season, Jack has come with a renewed energy and determination to beat his Breaststroke PBs in County Age, where his recent performances at the HAC RQ meet has been exceptional! Jack has almost improved 6 seconds off his 200 Breast PB and nearly 2 seconds off his 100 Breast PB both of which resulted in Bronze and Silver medals! Jack has been proactively taking onboard feedback given by his coach Dhaval where he has been working hard to improve his race skills, technique and speed! Jack has always shown a positive attitude to his training and has remained consistent with his attendance to each session! Jack’s friends describe him as hardworking, friendly, supportive and committed! A big well done to Jack for all his hard work in training for the last few months and his consistent dedication to training resulting in huge PBs and an overall successful meet for Jack! Jack’s recent success has resulted in him being part of swimmers training at the East London LAC Network! Well done Jack, Keep up the hard work!
