Squads
Back by popular demand, these skills clinics are for swimmers in the following squads:

​Academy, ASC Advanced Swim School (Monday to Friday) age 9-13

County Squads, City Squads and All Fitness Squads (Monday to Thursday) age 9-13
-
All County, Regional, Performance & Sprint Squads (Friday) age 13+

Spaces will be offered on a first come, first serve basis.

Coach
The programme is led by Level 3 national coach Wayne and our expert coaching team. Pool sessions will include video analysis.
​
What to bring
Swimmers will need to bring their swim kit (costume, hat, goggles, board, pullbuoy, paddles and fins if they have them), a water bottle and light lunch to help fuel their day.

ASC: Academy, Advanced Swim School | HAC: Academy squads
(9:00AM - 2:00PM)

08:30 - 08:50 Arrive, registration, introduction and welcome.
09:00- 10:30 Olympic Stroke Analysis for stroke of the day.
Coaches will show videos of professional swimmers and highlight areas for swimmers to copy during pool session.
10:45 - 12:15 Pool Session.
Skills based session for the stroke of the day, using drill progressions best suited to the squad which will be filmed.
12:30 - 2:00* Video analysis + Lunch.

​ASC: City Squads, County squads, Fitness | HAC: County squads, Fitness Development and Fitness Advanced
(9:00AM - 4:00PM)

08:30 - 08:50 Arrive, registration, introduction and welcome.
09:00 - 10:30 Swim Session 1 (stroke of the day).
Skills based session using drill progressions best suited to the squad.
10:30 - 13:30 Video Analysis & Lunch.
Coaches will analyse underwater footage from pool session 1 and detail expectations for pool session 2. Swimmers will eat lunch whilst watching the videos.
14:00 - 16:00* Pool session 2
Working on starts, turns, and finishes for the stroke of the day.
We will also briefly revisit session 1 focuses. Captured footage will be sent to parents after the skills clinic.

ASC: Academy, Advanced Swim School | HAC: Academy squads
£40 per day (+£20 for late stay), 25% discount for day 3, 4 and 5.

ASC: City Squads, County Squads, Fitness | HAC: County Squads, Fitness Development and Fitness Advanced
£60 per day, 25% discount for day 3 and 4.
Payment will be required in advance and support may be available for swimmers in the access programme. HAC members please contact the treasurer in confidence here if you would like to apply for the access fund.
